This collection contains the genealogical research of Martha Ruth Burgess, family and

Washington High School in Los Angeles, California, and from Limon High School in
Limon, Colorado. There are also documents such as old passports, immunization
records for travel, and correspondences from Martha Burgess’s travels through Europe,
Turkey, and Egypt in the 1950s and 1960s. The collection also includes photographs of
Frank Sinatra playing softball as part of Sinatra’s Swooners, a celebrity softball team in
Hollywood, California.
