Hello “Angel”
Kinda lax last wk [week] on the writing, not quite so busy today so will get right to it. This time is
really slipping by just the way I like it was afraid it would go slow. Better keep one eye on the door
around the first of July because I may slip though it before you notice I am there. Makes me feel good
just to day dream about it. Will be funny meeting my wife and boy be like seeing a stranger. Actually I
wonder what it will be like! I haven’t seen you for so darn long hard for me to remember what you look
like. Course in the next 50 years we ought to be able to get re-accquainted [reacquainted].
Had a rough time of it last week didn’t even have time to get moved going to for sure tomorrow
though. It is a pretty nice place I don’t intend to spend much time there thou [sic] as I have other plans.
No need to go into what I have been doing as it is the same thing. The movies bingo and bowling have
been doing that practally [sic] everyday [page 2] hit some pretty good scores to 184, 190, 197, 210 I
have really been hitting the wood lately. Am going to the shows tonight (Monkey Business) I think it will
be a fair picture. We have been having some nice weather getting a little rain thou [sic] looks like it will
rain outside anytime right now. Sat [Saturday] & Sun [Sunday] were sure nice gave me that old get up
and go feeling in my bones. How’s our little man? getting bigger and bigger I hope he might run his Pop
off when I come home. I think it would be a wonderful marriage if we never disagreed so I cain’t say I
agree with you. Glad to hear Pete made Sgt [Sargent] it will be nice if he can have his wife with him wish
you had of been with me all the time. Be glad you weren’t cause I think I would have been a bad boy.
Well I think I will cut this as short as you do yours and write the Folks didn’t write them last wk [week].
Hope everything is allright [sic] on that end and tell all hello for me.
