Biographical History
Helen May Clements was born August 31, 1900 in Jackson County, Missouri to Luther and Sallie
Clements. She was one of three children born to the couple. Helen attended William Chrisman High
School in Independence, MO and graduated in 1919. Helen became involved in selling insurance and
owned her own insurance office. She died on March 2, 1988 and was buried in Mount Washington
Cemetery in Independence, MO.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of the genealogy research of Helen Clements. The completed work from this
research is titled Clements Family Records and was finished in 1972. Within this work are genealogy
charts, family history, and transcribed records. Also found within this collection are photographs,
correspondence, Bible records, genealogy charts, and miscellaneous family histories.
