Dear Wife
Well hear I is [sic] back safe and sound looks like I have this old jinx broken. At least I hope so.
We got back at 3:10 this morn [morning] never had any trouble at all the ice had cleared off the road in
lots of places and others it wasn’t very bad. Angel there is simply no need for you thinking I am going to
do anything just because I brought my civil clothes back with me as I only want to wear them home
instead of wearing my uniform. Will you kindly get in your head that I love you? And have no intention
of doing what you think. Agnes will you call the folks and tell them I made it back for a change also tell
your folks hello for me. If you think there is no danger in losing my other pickup for my Guitar I wish you
would wrap it up and send it to me. All my love as usual
Jr. Tinder
