Very warm and dry threatens
to rain Plowed in the
forenoon in the afternoon
marked the sheep Talked
of going to Dansville after
supper but gave it up and
went to plowing and [turned?]
out at supper time on the acco

Still very warm did not get
much rain last night Started
early for Dansville to take
Martha home and get my
horse rake got home at ten o
clock Went up to help Mr
Poxson draw hay drew an one
load and then it rained a

Still warm after so much
Thunder but no rain here yet
to speak of yet Went to plowing

then mowed around a piece of
grass Georgie Down died this
morning he has been sick a
long time so we are all passing
away the old must die and the
young do
