Clear and pleasent [sic] laid bottom
rails in the fore noon and
finished spliting [sic] and draw
in the afternoon I plowed the
garden and panted [planted] some seeds
and had the strawberries hoed
another week is brought to a
close and we are still the land
of the living

Clear and warm days and cool
nights We all went to meeting
to day [sic] up to Father Holts
School house and we staid [stayed] to
Sunday School after meeting
Brother took the lead of the
Sunday School for to day [sic]
May, Monday 30
Warmer this morning went to
wash sheep down to [illegible]
creek Mr Bowdish went
down and helped me wash
and when I came back by
Fitchburgh and by Squares
to tell him about Mary’s
barn raiseing [sic] next

Clear and very warm and dry
cool nights and hevey [heavy] dews
To day [sic] finished moveing [sic]
fence and laying it over and
finished the fence clear through

had a sow that had pigs
