Scope and Content
This collection contains photographs taken by William Dale Parks and his daughter,
Dorothy Parks. In addition to family photographs, these images include slides of various
locations in Missouri, including the Kansas City Area, St. Louis, and locations in the
Ozarks. The collection also contains photographs of various sporting events in Kansas
City, including a Kansas City Royals baseball game, a Kansas City Blues hockey game, a
Kansas City Chiefs football game, and several files of racing and auto sports in the K.C.
metro area, including the I-70 speedway in Odessa, MO and the Kansas City
International Raceway in Kansas City, MO. The collection also contains images of a Billy
Graham event at Kansas City Municipal Stadium in 1967.
