Biographical History
Maude Myers Unangst Sanders was born in Missouri in 1885. Maude married William Henry Unangst on
October 29, 1903 in Topeka, Kansas. Maude was remarried on July 21, 1922 to John F. Sanders in
Lincoln, Nebraska. The Sanders lived in Omaha, Nebraska after their marriage. Maude moved to Kansas
City, Missouri around 1937 and lived the rest of her life in the Jackson County, Missouri area.
Scope and Content
This collection contains ephemera related to Maude Sanders, including: photographs, discharge records,
letters, Notice of Classification, bond, marriage licenses, certificate of registration, receipts, and an
obituary. Significant gaps exist from 1886-1898, 1903-1918, 1924-1938, and 1942-1951.
