Biographical History
Harold Moore Clute was born November 11, 1900 in Johnson County, Nebraska. During his life he was

Corp of Engineers. Harold was employed as an engineer after WWII, working for the federal
government on public projects such as irrigation development and water conservation. Clute retired
after forty one years of service; thirty four of those were spent in Kansas City, Missouri. He died August
24, 1992 and was buried in Sutton, Nebraska.
Harold Clute had an interest in his own family’s history and researched his genealogy. This collection
