Bramell family
Biographical History
Jonathan Bramel came from England to Maryland in the late 1700s. Eventually the family settled in
Mason County, Kentucky and later to Franklin County and Henry County, Missouri. David R Bramell was
born in December 27, 1867 in Franklin County, Missouri. He married Addie May Stephens. After her
death in 1902, he married Vanda Scott. David and Vanda’s daughter, Lillian Virginia Bramell married
William Ralph Skaggs. The other families in the collection are related to the Bramell and Skaggs families.
