Biographical History
Jesse (Jessie) Smith Perrine was born on August 14, 1824 in Ohio. Sabra Haskell was born September 8,
1834 in Ohio. They were married on May 28, 1856 and together they had eight children. Jessie was a
Civil War veteran serving as a sergeant with the 10th Regiment of the Missouri Cavalry. The family lived
in Ray and Barry counties in Missouri.
