Tue [Tuesday] Morn [morning]
8:30 AM
Dear Wife
Another month has rolled by which makes it 7 at 12AM today since I left Kansas City, do you
remember? I bet not. I recon [sic] I better get another weekly note in the mail, looks like you have also
started my habit of course I doubt if you feel to good so I will forgive you till after the Brat is born (I
should of said baby shouldn’t I?). Speaking a names not that Sandra Lynn isn’t pretty but if it is a girl we
won’t name her that as I don’t like it okay? As for Cecil it is horrible don’t you dare name our boy that.
Now be sure and write me some more names because I want to know what name we decided on before
it is born. [page 2] I’ll take part of it back I do like the Sandra part, that is allright [sic] but not the Lynn.
So my wife is going to be cold natured that’s okay by me you know we won’t be able to do a thing
because it only takes once to start another baby. I’ll tell you what we will do. I will sleep with you but
find another girl maybe a maid for you to satisfy me once in a while then every so often we can change
women that would be okay you know. I might grow to like that setup. Strictly kidding Angel because I
will bet a nickel in 5 minutes I can make you so hot you will let me do anything I want to. (I am not
bragging you were just born that way.) ha ha. So there to I don’t want a cold woman I will [page 3] feed
you Spanish fly. I went on sick call last week had a couple X rays taken and the Doc gave me some pills
to take still have that cold thou [sic]. Also had my wart took off and made a[n] appointment to get 2
teeth filled supposed to go back this evening. Had a long weekend didn’t go anywhere except to the
show 1 time just didn’t feel like it there isn’t anyplace around here to go anyhow. Today is payday which
is a good deal what do your checks run now still the same? After the month of Aug [August] they are
supposed to go up a little I think. Boy I am getting were [where] I really hate to write again there for
awhile I didn’t mind it a bit. I will finish this later will wait in case I get a [page 4] letter from you today.
Wed [Wednesday] Morn [morning] 8AM
Hi Honey
Better finish this and get it in the mail before you think I have forgotten you completely. Got a letter
from you yesterday you write about as often as I do anymore. Anyway I was glad to hear that you were
lonely for me I am also lonely for you believe me. No I didn’t get the cold from kissing girls I allready
[sic] had it??? (admitting things aren’t I?) I have also been keeping late hrs [hours] but I went to bed
early last night after seeing a real good show (just this once). Say call the folks and tell them I am fine as
I may be to lazy to write this week. Got my tooth filled yes. [yesterday] eve [evening] but didn’t get to
see the Doc [Doctor] as he was on leave. I hope your Mom is feeling much better. Tell all hello for me
and take care of [page 5] my cold natured wife for me. Will you huh?

P.S.S. I saw some of the most beautiful cuckoo clocks at the Hospital if I hadn’t been so poor I would of
