Hewitt, Jeanette D.
Biographical History
Jeanette D. Hewitt was born October 6, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York to John A. Deane and Gene M. Lane
Deane. The Deane family moved to the Kansas City, Missouri area by 1940. Jeanette moved to California
and married Paul J. Hewitt in 1947. They divorced in 1970 and by 1980 Jeanette had moved back to
Kansas City. She worked for the University of Kansas. Jeanette died on November 7, 2005 and was
buried at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Scope and Content
This collection contains genealogical research for Howard and Lane families in Ohio, Montana, and Iowa
as well as other locations. Surnames such as Sulgrove, Saylor, Gray, Hiatt, Sullins, and Norris in addition
