Biographical History
Adalyne Ruth (Hughes) Runion was born on 28 June 1918 in Mindenmines, Missouri to Claude L. and
Georgia M. Hughes. She married Gerald Robert Runion on 14 November 1936. She had two children
with Gerald, Norma Joann Partch and Margaret Nelson. During her life, she spent time as an Avon
distributor and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Adalyne Runion died on 17 June 2009.
Scope and Content
This collection primarily covers Adalyne Runion’s involvement in the Order of the Eastern Star. Most of
the material related to the organization are meeting minutes that cover twenty-one years. The rest of
