Robert “Bob” Newton family
Biographical History
Robert “Bob” Newton was born on May 24, 1884 in White Church, Kansas to Periander and Julia
Newton. Bob married Lula Ingram on December 17, 1903. Together they had three children; Gale S.,
Roberta, and Josephine. Bob and family lived in Wyandotte County, Kansas where he was a farmer. Bob
died on January 29, 1964 and was buried in Maywood Community Church Cemetery in Wyandotte
County. Lula died on July 14, 1968 and was buried in Bonner Springs Cemetery in Wyandotte County.

This collection consists of two photographs from the Newton family. One photograph is of Robert “Bob”
Newton and Lula Ingram. The second photograph is of Bob, Lula, and their son Gale S. Newton.
