John Bushner family
Biographical History
John Bushner was born on October 31, 1854 in Kirshe, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. John’s family
moved to Newton County, Missouri in 1878 and purchased farm land. On October 7, 1880, John married
Charlotte Schweitzer in Neosho, MO. Together they had three children, two of whom survived. Charlotte
died on July 8, 1926 in Drumright, Oklahoma while visiting her daughter. John died on January 2, 1934 in
Otis, Colorado.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of the family Bible for the John BUSHNER family. This Bible contains family
records for births, marriages, and deaths for John, his wife Charlotte SCHWEITZER, and their children.
The records also contain information on individuals with the following surnames: CLAY, SCHWEITZER,
and TIPTON. Also included in this collection are the scanned family record pages, items found within the
