The Women’s Civic Club of Independence, MO was organized in 1947 with six charter members. The
goal of this club is to provide women with an avenue for volunteering their time to help the community
of Independence. Since 1947, the Women’s Civic Club members have donated countless hours and
monetary donations to numerous Independence causes and organizations.
