Biographical History
Lois C. Cottrell was born July 7, 1912 in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS. She lived in Kansas City, KS and
graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1930. Lois married Albert Laverne McNaul in 1931 and had
one daughter, Patricia Laverne McNaul. Patricia married Howard Prince in 1950 and they had one son,
Craig. In 1952, Lois remarried Roy Golden in Benton County, Arkansas. Roy passed away on September
4, 1990 in Cleveland, Cass County, MO and Lois passed away on December 23, 2003 in Lee’s Summit,
Jackson Co., MO.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of the photographs and ephemera of Lois C. Golden. The photographs cover the
late 1800s through 2000s. Also found within this collection are memorabilia from Lois’ high school and
subsequent reunions. There is also correspondence between Lois and her daughter Patricia.
