Administrative History
The Kansas City Telephone Company was created by the merger of the two existing telephone
companies in August 1918. The company’s headquarters was located at 11th and Oak Streets in
downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
The Booster Club was a club consisting of Telephone Company employees. The Booster magazine was
created, compiled, and published by club members.
