Guy Lee Tinder, Jr. correspondence
[Postcard – postmarked December 5, 1951]
Dear Wife
Maybe time to say hello. Got back at 3:40 and had a very hard day of K.P. [kitchen patrol] Mon
[Monday]. It rained a little here last night looks like it will keep it up to, at least it is warm. I suppose by
now my car is finished hope it is in good condition. Guess I won’t sell it as we need the darn thing.
Maybe I will be lucky and not get guard duty Sun [Sunday]. Hope not as I want to come home you know
this married life is a pretty good deal. Tell the folks hello for me. Call mom also. I love you lots and lots.
Miss you much. Jr Tinder
