February, Tuesday 1
Pleasent [sic] choped [sic] a load of wood
and drew in the fore noon in
the afternoon went to meeting
to Mr Lawrence and Samantha
went over to Squares and staid [stayed]
till after evening meeting Brother
Holt came home with us and said [stayed]
all night
February, Wednesday 2
Snowed some in the forenoon
Brother Holt went home this
forenoon did not work much to
day only the chores did talked of
going to meeting to night [sic] but
give it up staid [stayed] at home the
boys went to school to day
